About Us

The K9 Corner is locally owned and operated by Lindsay Plank and her amazing Staff. She has an extreme passion for animals of all kinds, especially dogs. So much that, when she graduated from the University of New England with a 4-year degree in Mammal Psychology and Marine Biology, she began working with/training Dolphins and Sea lions down in Destin, Florida. Lindsay then moved to the Upstate of SC with her Husband after his 6-year enlistment was up with the United States Air Force. Once they moved to the Greenville area with their beloved Weimaraner (Dante) and Rottweiler (Blaze), Lindsay used her training knowledge of marine life to begin her career as a dog trainer. During Dante's younger years he presented many challenges for Lindsay, and in learning to work together through physical and mental exercise with motivation and rewards; they formed a fantastic relationship and understanding. Through this work with many dogs like Dante, Lindsay gained a wealth of knowledge and experience with a variety of wonderful canines. After five years of marine life training and ten years of dog training the Plank's decided they wanted to open up their own facility. Seeing the upcoming growth of Simpsonville, they decided to open the K9 Corner doors in May of 2019. Lindsay and her incredible Staff have grown the business strictly by word of mouth and letting their genuine love of animals be seen by all who walk through the doors.

 The Plank family over the last few years has had to let Dante and Blaze cross over the rainbow bridge, but now enjoy their two rescues, Steven and Akira. With John and Lindsay both being philanthropists at heart, they strive to give back to the community as much as possible, and work closely with several rescues. They foster dogs at their facility and are actively involved in several charities to support dogs in need. Their goal is to build a strong family connection with their clients, create a unique, safe and loving environment for the dogs, filled with enrichment, belly rubs and lots of spoiling! We want to help you build a closer bond to Man and Woman's best friend! The K9 Corner takes pride in going above and beyond with every aspect of their facility., from the cleaning process, all the way to the well-educated and friendly Staff. Our goal is to make your dog feel like The K9 Corner is home away from home!
